The Semmelweis Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy, offered at Campus Ludes, represents a valuable and interesting educational pathway in the field of health professions. Why Us?
To be admitted to the Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy program, the candidate must hold one of the following diplomas:
- Level 5 MQF Diploma: “Diploma di Esame di Stato/Maturità” (Italian system)
- Diploma or Certificate of the first cycle
- Higher education certificate or equivalent international qualification (e.g., “CESS” – Belgian system)
- Baccalauréat (French system)
- Federal Diploma (Swiss system)
Additionally, the candidate must have passed the admission test.

To be enrolled, you must have taken the test, uploaded the signed admission application on all pages, and paid the registration fees and the first tuition fee.

ADMISSION TEST REGISTRATION FEE
To be paid only in the first year of the course, at the time of registration for the admission exam (in compliance with the provisions of the admission application)

ADMINISTRATIVE ENROLLMENT FEE
Document sending, registration, and administrative fee for course enrollment, to be paid at the time of enrollment, or no later than 30 days after the date of the test participated in

SEMESTER TUITION FEE
To be paid every semester, for the entire duration of the course, in order to be enrolled in the academic year (in compliance with the provisions of the admission application)
The amount can be paid as follows:
– CHF 6,500 (six thousand five hundred Swiss francs) to be paid no later than 30 days from the date of the test participated in, choosing one of the payment methods indicated on the website.
– CHF 6,500 (six thousand five hundred Swiss francs) by February 15, 2025.
The amounts of the semester fees for subsequent years remain unchanged and must be paid by August 15 and February 15 of each year.
FINAL EXAM FEE
CHF 5,250 (five thousand two hundred and fifty Swiss francs) fee for registration for the final exam to be paid at least 30 days before the scheduled date for the final practical exam. Students who have not passed the final exams or part of them are required to re-register for the next session, subject to the payment of a reduced exam fee by 50%, i.e., CHF 2,625 (CHF 5,250: 2).
CHF 1,800 (one thousand eight hundred Swiss francs) end-of-cycle fee, to be paid before collecting the final diploma.
Semmelweis is a Hungarian state institution, founded in 1769, based in Budapest, specializing in the field of medicine and health sciences.
The title “Bachelor in Physiotherapy,” issued by Semmelweis, is a European title and is recognized in all countries of the European Union, in accordance with Directive 2005/36/EC.
It is important to specify that, for recognition purposes, each country may, at its discretion, require additional internship, supplementary exam, or other requirements.
In addition, the graduate has the option to initiate the procedure for obtaining the European Professional Card (EPC), provided for by Directive EU 55/2013 (Article 55 bis of Legislative Decree 206/2007).
For the recognition of the professional qualification in Italy, the student may:
To obtain authorization to practice the profession in Italy, the graduate must submit an application to the Ministry of Health. To obtain authorization to practice the profession in France, the graduate must submit an application to the regional department of youth, sports, and social cohesion (DRJSCS) in the French region where they wish to practice the profession. It is important to specify that, for recognition purposes, each country may, at its discretion, require additional internship, supplementary exam, or other requirements (see Directive 2005/36/EC and Directive 2013/55/UE).

For the recognition of the professional qualification in Switzerland, the student may:
To obtain authorization to practice the profession in Switzerland, the graduate must submit an application to the Swiss Red Cross (CRS) in Bern. It is important to specify that, for recognition purposes, each country may, at its discretion, require additional internship, supplementary exam, or other requirements (see Directive 2005/36/EC and Directive 2013/55/UE).
Once the graduation diploma is recognized by the CRS, the graduate can work as an employee; for independent work, it is necessary to comply with specific cantonal laws. In Cantone Ticino, per esempio, occorre chiedere l’autorizzazione all’esercizio della professione di fisioterapista all’Ufficio della Sanità a Bellinzona. For example, in the canton of Ticino, it is necessary to apply for authorization to practice as a physiotherapist at the Office of Health in Bellinzona.

Semmelweis in Budapest is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions specialized in medical science in Central Europe, founded in 1769. Its Faculty of Health Sciences offers Bachelor’s, Masters and postgraduate courses in nursing, physiotherapy, medical technology, optometry and speech therapy. The Faculty is internationally recognized for quality teaching and research in health sciences and has strong links with hospitals and research centers around the world. Students have access to modern facilities and equipment to enrich their curricular and cultural experience.
Since 2008, LUDES has become off-campus to Semmelweis for the Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, which is spread over four years of study for a total of 240 ECTS (in Italian and French).
Through this partnership, the student population of the Campus has grown steadily over the years and has benefited from the expertise of the Campus Professors to increasingly improve the quality of education and research activities.
